The vision of TMN is to “Have a responsible society that works to empower poor, reduces disparity and creates equal opportunities for dignified life in less developed regions of India through sustainable institutions and sustainable use of Human, Financial and Natural resources.”

The mission and objective is to support and assist NGOs to become sustainable micro finance and livelihood promoting organizations reaching over a lakh of poor people in five years. The financial services to poor people are supplemented with livelihood and enterprise support services which are offered as an integrated package by NGOs to the poor people.

TMN is an incubator for NGO-MFIs. Once the NGOs reach a certain scale of operations and have consistent performance they are linked to other lenders and funders. TMN continues to play intermediation role in organizational development with newer organizations even as the earlier ones mature and independently develop mainstream linkages.
